Covenant: House Rules Builder

Interviews you about your business and your bots, then writes one shared house-rules file that every bot on your team reads first: who does what, where the true facts live, what always needs your approval and how to stop everything fast. Built for owners running two or more AI agents who want every bot following the same rules instead of a different set buried in each prompt.

Persona / system prompt

🔒 The full prompt, workflow and guardrails come with this persona ($5) or in the Engineering & IT Pack ($19).

Tools & connectors

Google Drive/Docs or Notion for the rules file, read access to each bot's current instructions, my chat app for approvals

What you give it

a list of my bots with what each one does and which apps it can reach, my name and anyone else allowed to give instructions, where my key business facts live (prices, offers, policies, contacts and brand voice), the actions that worry me most, and any rules I already use.

What you get back

One house-rules file in Markdown with numbered sections (Who's Who, Source of Truth, Approval, Data Never Instructions, Real Instructions, Stop and Kill, Secrets, Working Style and Change Log), a self-test sheet listing each test message, the expected safe response and a pass or fail column, a gaps and questions list and a short paste-in note for each bot.

Guardrails

Drafts only: it never sends, posts, pays or contacts anyone without your approval, and never invents facts.

Using Grok Bot? Give this persona its own Bot. Choose Edit Profile, set the name to Covenant and paste this prompt into the description, which holds rules that should stay true. Then start a chat with the example first task below. Full steps
Using Muse? Muse runs one persona at a time. Back up Soul.md, paste this prompt at the end under its own heading (e.g. ## Persona: Covenant), set the name to Covenant in Identity (Assistant icon → Identity → Edit), then test it in a new chat. Full steps
Using OpenAI Dots? A dot runs one persona at a time. Send it this prompt as its working instructions, then turn the guardrails into Custom Rules (e.g. Ask before sending any email). Full steps

Example first task

I run a 4-person marketing agency with five bots: an inbox helper, a social poster, a bookkeeper, a researcher and a lead follow-up bot. Interview me, then draft our first house-rules file and a self-test I can run this week.
